The Wayward Pynes

The Wayward Pynes are: Adrian Middleton and Patrick Johnson, a piano/vocal duo. They relocated from London to Devon in 2014. Both former teachers, they have also worked professionally in the entertainment industry; theatre in particular. Since their arrival in Devon, they have written and performed the music for the show ‘Killing Elsa’, which had its premiere in May 2017 in the Teign Valley. They have also worked with many other local individuals and organisations, performing live music in aid of charities, and for private and public functions.

For the last five years the 'day job' has been providing live music entertainment in residential care homes for the elderly across Devon. they also regularly perform at fetes, festivals, weddings, charity events, pubs and clubs as well as private functions.
